Home Based Business Scripts for Network Marketing Recruiting

Should you use a Script when working your network marketing or Home Based Business?

The answer is both YES and NO. Yes use a script as a guideline but know your script as you don't want to sound like you are reading from a script. You want your conversation to flow naturally. I know that when someone calls me and it is obvious that they are reading from a script it is an immediate turn-off.

So getting good at your script is not that difficult. The more people you talk to, the better the flow. You will get better and better and soon you will be a PRO. Just have a goal of how many people will you talk to on a daily basis. How many people will you expose your Home Based Business to per day? As a guideline Part Timers often expose 2 plus people per day. Full time Home Business owners often expose 5 plus people per day.


Step 1. Pique their interest with the Approach!
The first people you want to call are people that you already know. Be excited and get them in front of the information. Make sure they know from your voice how important this is for them and how this is NOT like anything else you have ever seen before! Note: The following approach is proven to work, it is tried and true. Now go ahead and Contact 3-5 people every day for the next 30 days and your Business will be on a roll!

Approach:  Start of Home Business Recruiting Script


Call someone you know and excitedly say... “Hey _________, it’s _________, how ya’ doin’? Listen, do you have about 4 minutes right now that you can share with me? (Make sure you wait for their Answer) Great, let me tell you why I called. A friend of mine let me in on something HUGE and I feel obligated to share it with you PLUS, I really want to get your opinion. I’m gonna 3-Way you in to a short 4 minute message that will cover the details. Don’t hang up, I want to get your thoughts after the recording. Hold on.” This is where you three-way into your companies recorded sizzle message. Usually around 4 minutes in duration.
(This is a major hint), physically 3-Way them in to your Recorded Call and let the system work for you!!

Go ahead and dial the number and (Make sure to hit flash and check that they are on the 3-Way call.)
When the message is complete, say…“So tell me what you think _________, does this sound like something you’d like to learn more about?”

At this point, some will already want to get their position and will be ready to register. Naturally you will want to pick A home based business Opportunity that makes sense to the majority of people. Some will need more information. This is where you are the DIRECTOR, not the presenter- Direct them to a Presentation or website where they can view your home business presentation.

Before you hang up, find out when they will have 15 minutes (or duration of your presentation) to view the website/presentation and then schedule a time to call them back, right after they view the information. You will get people that will be ready to secure their position after the presentation. So be ready! Lets say they still need more information, THEN...3-Way them in to your Upline. (Upline Phone #: __ __ __ - __ __ __ - __ __ __ __ )

If they are ready to get get started after speaking with your upline, then get them signed up. In fact be ready to sign them up at each exposure phase listed above. Some people need a lot of information and others JUST SEE IT...right away.

If they are still not ready after listening to the recorded call, and then viewing a good Business Overview and speaking with your upline, then move on to the NEXT person. Your job is to introduce your business to them, not talk them in to joining. Now move on to the next person.

Marketing Tip!  You should track everyone that you expose your business to with a good ( activity sheet ).

1. Never get started

1. You must have a genuine passion for the particular company, products or service that you will be be marketing. You absolutely must be sold yourself. Hey if you personally love the products or service yourself you won't have any problem sharing it with others! Network Marketing uses the very best of advertising methods and this method is word of mouth.

2. Do some due diligence or research on the company before aligning yourself with them. If the company has a very poor reputation you will have a real battle building your business. Also find out what the person knows about the company that is sharing it with you.

3. Once you get started take action right away. In fact take massive action right away if you really want to capitalize on opportunity.

4. Use the company designed marketing tools to show your product or business. Marketing tools such as flyers, brochures, DVD, Website, Conference calls or recorded sizzle call. People you show your business or products too need validation and doing this simple thing gives it to them.  Just rememeber you are the director NOT the presenter.  Direct people to the information they need to make an informed decision.

5. Edify or build up the Marketing tool when sharing with others. Say something like: Wait untill you see our website! Or Wait until you see our DVD! You get the idea, if you are not excited yourself, the person you are showing won't be exicted to get started with you either.

6. Care about the person that you are talking to. Really listen to them. Make a connection with them. Make a new friend. Network Marketing is a Relationship or People Business.

Build Your Business Email List

I highly recommend building your own email list as quite frankly the money is in the list.  I think we have all heard this before.  This list must be opt-in and this is to your benefit.  People just do not respond to spam emails and besides the spam filters these days will send your spam emails to the junk folder or even worse, weed them out all together and so OPT IN IS KING.

Opt-in and double Opt-in forms can be easilly created in your account of any good email list builder.
You can put the opt-in forms that collect data right onto your own business website so long as you or your webmaster have access to it.  You can even add your opt-in html email form code to your facebook page.

There are some great products out there that make it easy for you have a database of several different lists catorgories.  Wouldn't it be nice to push a button and email your list right now or even schedule it for future sending.  You can notify people about New products or services that you are offering or what is NEW about your particular business and even what is about to come. 

I recommend standing out from the crowd and being as professional as possible and that becomes easy as some list builders have several templates for you to choose that have a high quality look to them.  Templates for e-newsletters, business themes, holiday themes and just about everything one could think of!

It is so important to remember you customers come holiday time.  Sending a nice holiday greeting via email lets your customers know you care and this also reminds them that you are still in business.  Hey did you know there is a send to a friend button built into these email templates.  How cool is that?  You can even decide to leave that button out if you like.
